We had the good fortune to charter “The Entertainer”, which is a Sea Ray SLX 400 available to guests staying at the Four Seasons Ko Olina. Skippered by two talented and knowledgable team mates, the trip was fantastic and exceeded all expectations for our foray into dolphin and whale watching. It helped that the seas were very calm on the day we went out, and that is was very much the right season for whale watching.
With a private charter, we were able to direct the activities and what we were interested in, and basically spent several hours motoring and drifting as appropriate to enjoy the abundant wildlife around Oahu’s coast.
The Ko Olina Marina is conveniently located about a five minute drive from the Four Seasons resort in Oahu and a house car is available to get you there and back. During our stay, we used the house car repeatedly to get around the Ko Olina area and only needed our own car when venturing further out.
