If you are looking for an outstanding Italian meal in the Poulsbo, Washington area, Sogno Di Vino is the place. Our first visit several years ago occurred when the large magnolia tree in the front courtyard area was in bloom. We sat outside, had fantastic appetizers and a wood-fired pizza before moving onto some great pastas. Everything was fresh, flavorful and with sauces and breads worthy of bringing it all together to sop up anything left on a plate. An extra enhancement for us is a very good selection of bottled wines on the regular wine list in addition to an even broader selection which can be selected from the onsite wine shop and served with dinner.
We continue to visit regularly since that first time and are delighted each time. Service is always attentive and an overall enhancement to the experience.
Our recent visits including during social distancing requirements have only added to the ambiance, as several gas fireplace tables have been added both in an upstairs deck and outside by the magnolia tree. This place is worth the trip if anywhere remotely near the neighborhood.
The wood fired pizzas are exceptional, as are the pasta dishes, especially anything with their ragu and bolognese.
