Price Sculpture Forest is a wonderful art exhibit set outside in a walkable forested area outside of Coupeville on Whidbey Island. The Sculpture Forest has two separate but linked walking trails, one is very flat and accessible, with the second being slightly more hilly and uneven.

Deception Pass State Park

It is difficult to capture the expanse and beauty of this Washington State Park. Deception Pass State Park is located between Anacortes and the northern tip of Whidbey Island. From a practical perspective, if driving, Whidbey Island can only be reached by ferries in several locations, or by crossing the Deception Pass Bridge.

Rocky Pond Winery

We were introduced to Rocky Pond in 2018 when a Rocky Pond Chardonnay was featured on the wine list at Anthony’s Seafood restaurant in Gig Harbor. After a few dinners with the wine, we made this trip to Woodinville and were exposed to the total wine lineup from Rocky Pond, which is extensive and pretty much full of great hits.

Harvest Moon over Puget Sound

We don’t always have clear nights to enjoy full moons, but it seems like a regular occurrence this year. This September we had a beautiful display by the Harvest Moon over Puget Sound as it rose over the South Sound. I have selected only a few of the photos taken. 2021 Celebrity Cruise Millennium Sail Away from Seattle

It was a a beautiful day and early evening as we began our 7 day voyage on board the Celebrity Cruise Millennium headed for Alaska. Pier 66 is a picturesque starting point for a cruise and the Seattle city skyline expands beautifully as the ship leaves port. we’ve never been able to see the waterfront and Seattle skyline from this vantage point before and we truly enjoyed the view.
