An absolute favorite of ours, Duke’s Seafood has 7 locations around the Puget Sound, with our go-to restaurant located on the Tacoma waterfront on Ruston Way. This location has great patio seating in season and indoor tables and booths most with wonderful views over the Tacoma waterfront.
If the location and view weren’t enough, the seafood can and does take center stage on a regular basis. Sustainable options are always available, with halibut in season a terrific choice. At our last visit, the Alaskan Blue North Cod lightly encrusted with parmesan/asiago was a real hit. Always served with fresh vegetables, the entrees are terrific. I’m also fond of the seafood tacos when I’m not in the mood for a finer dish.
By the way, save room for desserts. Along with regular standards, there are always a few seasonal specials to end your meal on a high note.
As a final note, service here is genuine and always on point with members of the management team always circulating and making sure everything is just right.
